TheSOI device conceals the self heating effects induced in the MOSFET. There exists an active path of conduction from the drain to substrate and source to substrate in the entire device to curb the heating effects. The buried oxide layer used in the device is SiO2 and it is essentially free from the issues related to fabrication and performance. The comparison is made from the bulk MOSFET and SOI MOSFET from the literature. The Silicon (Si) and Silicon Germanium (SiGe) materials are considered for the analysis. The lattice temperature effects are induced for the comparative analysis of the proposed SOI MOSFET. The main parameters of interest in the study are the electric field (lateral and vertical) and potential across the channel. © 2023 IEEE.Item Revolutionizing Parking Management with IoT-powered Smart Car Parking Solutions(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2023) Suresh, N.; Nitheesh, K.; Siva Chaitanya, R.V.; Vani, B.V.In densely populated areas, obtaining parking spaces is a major problem because the number of automobiles on the road is increasing daily. RFID is the most often used technique for removing or overcoming the cause. Checking the card's balance rather than hunting for parking spaces at far-off locations is the present RFID concept's procedure. The biggest problem with the existing approach is that it is hard to measure how much money is taken out because it varies over time and between various slots. Therefore, this research study provides a solution, namely the suggested method, which guarantees an efficient monitoring system and permits the monitoring of parking spaces in remote regions. These efforts The goal of this project is to tie the RFID concept to the Internet of Things (IoT). Users can communicate remotely regarding parking space availability thanks to IoT's client-server connection. The creation of a website that informs users when parking spaces are available would enhance the mobile-friendly environment. From a distance, users will be able to reserve a parking spot, and that spot will be held for 30 minutes while it waits for the user to arrive. After the time restriction has gone and the slot is still available, the user must rebook it. By doing this, parking lot traffic congestion is reduced to a minimum. This can be employed in retail areas where traffic congestion is regularly caused by parking concerns. © 2023 IEEE.Item Monitoring Harmful Algal Blooms in the Indian Ocean Region Using Satellite Remote Sensing Data(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2023) Ramesh, N.V.K.; Spandana, A.P.; Sri, N.N.; Kumar, D.R.; Ratnam, D.V.; Vani, B.V.Nowadays, fishermen and other people dependent on marine life and seafood face severe problems due to HABs (harmful algal blooms). HABs are severely affecting climate change, fishermen, and the Indian economy in many ways. Therefore, detecting harmful algal blooms in various coastal regions is necessary to increase economic growth and save aquatic animal life. The present study summarizes the algal bloom events analysis reported in India during of January 2004, September 2004, March 2008, and March 2013. The detection of algal blooms in Asian Pacific Data Research Center(APDRC) using Chlorophyll, sea surface temperature of Moderate Resolution Imaging Spectroradiometer(MODIS) satellite data is considered for the significant algal blooms events that occurred over the Indian Ocean in January 2004, September 2004, March 2008, and March 2013. In addition, the corresponding zonal total surface currents from OSCAR satellite data are analysed to investigate the HAB characteristics. It is evident from the results that various factors for such algal blooms are based on the environmental factors prevalent during the blooms period. The outcome of this work would help understand the spatial and temporal variability of Algal blooms and for developing algal bloom detection and prediction algorithm using satellite and ground-based observations. © 2023 IEEE.Item Revolutionary Baby Care Solution: Enhanced Cradle with Advanced Monitoring System(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2023) Nazee, P.; Suresh, N.; Vani, B.V.In recent years, taking care of a baby has become more important and harder for working moms. Working moms won't have enough time to keep an eye on their kids all the time, even at home. Parents either send their kids to live with their grandparents or give the job of taking care of the child to someone else. In the suggested work, a system was made for a smart crib that automatically checks on the baby. The baby tracking device checked the baby's temperature, heart rate, quantity of gas molecules, position, and how it moved. The S.ODI board is used to connect the sensors and motors. The baby tracking system is hooked up to the cot so that the baby can have something similar to an incubator. The baby tracking device is always keeping an eye on the baby. The baby's temperature, heart rate, and moisture levels will be shown on the smartphone app's baby bed display. The system will monitor the baby's vital signs and respond appropriately, such as by adjusting the temperature, activating or disabling the fan, repositioning the cradle, or playing soothing music, if any anomalies are detected. If the readings seem off, the caretaker and the parents will get an alert. The Baby's posture and mobility may be tracked using Motion Eye OS. The prototype baby monitoring device saves valuable time for both parents and providers. This method of monitoring a newborn has been shown to be the safest and most effective. This surveillance is a highly efficient Internet of Things (IoT)-based system for true tracking that employs the greatest security mechanisms available. © 2023 IEEE.Item An Efficient Smart Gas Detecting System using MQ9 Sensor(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2023) Reddy, B.N.; Appala, T.; Vani, B.V.Gas Detection System is most important system in any buildings. Now a days in factories so many poisonous gases are emitted from reactions especially in chemical factories it will helps to detect the presence of gas particles and the amount of spreading in air. Not only in factories other institutes, buildings, colleges etc especially it will detect the presence of fire and it will give an alert. Very minor leaks and their location can be found using visual inspection or portable detectors, but the detection process takes a very long time. In this paper, we developed system with MQ9 sensor which detects the poisonous gases like carbon monoxide, LPG gas etc. This proposed technique includes a buzzer alerting system that beeps repeatedly until the gas detection module fails to detect the gas in the surroundings. © 2023 IEEE.Item An Efficient FSR-based Approach for Self Notifying Chairs to Minimize Long Duration Sitting Postures(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2023) Sarangam, K.; Appala, T.; Vani, B.V.; Sai Kumar, A.S.The basic principle of a force sensing resistor is that the resistance decreases with increase in force. This property of the sensor can be used to find its application on many devices and circuits. In this research paper, a FSR is used to find whether a person is sitting on a chair without change in position for too long. The creation of a straightforward tool to track a user's sitting time and issue a warning if it exceeds a predetermined time limit is described in this proposed work. To save the user the trouble of lugging it, the tool was installed on a chair. As experts say, every 20 minute a person should change his/her posture so as to maintain good health. A circuit is developed in order to acquire the change in signals from the FSR. In order to construct a user-friendly display, LabVIEW software was employed. It is anticipated that the user will be able to spend less time sitting down by using the tool. © 2023 IEEE.Item An FPGA and ASIC Implementation of Cubing Architecture(Springer, 2022) Naresh Kumar Reddy, B.N.K.; Seetharamulu, B.; Siva Krishna, G.S.; Vani, B.V.The optimization of VLSI design is playing an important role in the development of technological applications. The limited range of EVs and the lack of charging facilities make it harder to gain widespread adoption of the EV service. Several optimisation algorithms for EV routes have not yet resolved the problems of trip time and travel cost. The study provides a Bat optimisation technique to reduce trip time and costs while taking into account customer service requests and EV charging schedules. Taking into account battery capacity, charging duration, and delivery/pickup needs, the suggested method may determine the optimal path to supercharger stations. To demonstrate its effectiveness, it is compared to other state-of-the-art algorithms across a variety of benchmark cases. © 2023 The Authors.
