An Efficient Smart Gas Detecting System using MQ9 Sensor

Abstract

Gas Detection System is most important system in any buildings. Now a days in factories so many poisonous gases are emitted from reactions especially in chemical factories it will helps to detect the presence of gas particles and the amount of spreading in air. Not only in factories other institutes, buildings, colleges etc especially it will detect the presence of fire and it will give an alert. Very minor leaks and their location can be found using visual inspection or portable detectors, but the detection process takes a very long time. In this paper, we developed system with MQ9 sensor which detects the poisonous gases like carbon monoxide, LPG gas etc. This proposed technique includes a buzzer alerting system that beeps repeatedly until the gas detection module fails to detect the gas in the surroundings. © 2023 IEEE.
