Abstract: From the analysis of 15 groundwater samples collected from the bore wells of Manipal Institute of Technology Campus, Manipal, it is found that the physicochemical parameters are within the maximum permissible limits of drinking water standards. However, low fluoride (>0.6 mg/L) is observed in all the groundwater samples and high iron (>1.0 mg/L) in one of the samples. The study also reveals that groundwater of this campus is dominated by bicarbonate anion with magnesium and calcium cations.
