Abstract
The implementation of single inductor dual input boost dc-dc converter is discussed in this paper which is useful in Electric Vehicle(EV) applications. The circuit is compact and have a limited number of components. The proposed converter has potential to be advantageous due to its simple form, good voltage amplification ratio, and comparatively greater efficiency. The steady-state analysis is studied in detailed. The required transfer functions were generated from a thorough dynamic study of the converter based on the converters small signal model. The simulations are done using the MATLAB/Simulink environment. The results are validated with the Hardware in Loop (Opal-RT). © 2024 IEEE.
