Abstract
BaTiO<inf>3</inf>-graphene composite (BG) was synthesized by a facile two step solvothermal approach. The synthesized materials were thoroughly characterized by X-ray diffraction technique, field emission scanning electron microscopy, energy-dispersive X-ray analysis, Raman analysis, diffuse reflectance spectroscopy and photoluminescence spectroscopic techniques. The photocatalytic activity of 7.5 BG composite was found to be higher as compared to bare BaTiO<inf>3</inf>, which can be attributed to the enhanced visible light response., excellent adsorption of methylene blue dye via π-πinteraction and low recombination rate of photoinduced charges. © 2020 Author(s).
