High Efficiency Broadband Mixed Mode Power Amplifier for Patient Monitoring
(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2021) Surve, V.; Kumar, S.; Gorre, P.
In this paper, the wideband operation of mixed mode Class F power amplifier has been presented for biomedical application in patient monitoring. The proposed work involves a reactance compensation technique, which provides a 10 W output power for a frequency range of 0.3-2.4 GHz while achieving efficiency of 66.81-76.82% over 155.55% fractional bandwidth. The large signal gain ranging from 11~13 dB and output power greater than 40 dBm. The PAE ranges from 55 to 72%. Layout of proposed circuit is generated using Modelithics components to verify the circuit implementation. © 2021 IEEE.

D-DNS: A Decentralized Domain Name System on the Blockchain: Implementation and Assessment
(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2024) Divakarla, U.; Chandrasekaran, K.
Cache poisoning and DDoS attacks are just two of the many ways that the Domain Name System (DNS), an essential part of the Internet infrastructure, can be attacked. Countermeasures have been suggested, although they are not without restrictions. This article introduces D-DNS, a domain name system built on blockchain technology that can offer effective and safe DNS services. D-DNS solves two issues with current blockchain-based DNS systems: the inefficient query handling and the computationally demanding Proof-of-Work (PoW) protocol. D-DNS accomplishes this by putting in place a domain index and a Proof-of-Stake (PoS) consensus mechanism. To evaluate the security of D-DNS versus legacy DNS in terms of attack success rate, attack cost, and attack surface, a new quantitative comparison is presented.. According to experimental results, the attack surface of D-DNS is substantially less than that of legacy DNS, the attack cost is a million times higher, and the chance of a successful attack on D-DNS is 1% of a successful attack on legacy DNS. When D-DNS query performance is compared to the most advanced commercial DNS implementations, it is demonstrated to achieve equivalent or even reduced query latency. © 2024 IEEE.

Digital Control System Based Isolated Totem Pole Converter for Electric Vehicle Onboard Chargers
(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2025) Das, A.K.; Raushan, R.; Kumar, P.
The Totem-Pole converter is well-suited for lowpowered electric vehicle (EV) applications. The isolated configurations of such converters provide single-stage power conversion that overcomes the more conversion stages. A robust controller can satisfy the converter operations efficiently for on-board charging applications. In this paper, a modified digital control method for totem-pole PFC cascaded active flyback DC-DC converters functioning in discontinuous conduction mode (DCM) is proposed. The auxiliary switch and clamp capacitor are used to recycle the stored energy in the transformer to reduce the spike voltage. The main purpose of adding PFC is to obtain the input current in phase with the input voltage, keeping total harmonic distortion (THD) low to improve the efficiency of the converter. © 2025 IEEE.
