The tests have been carried out for phases, crystal structure, phase transformation temperatures and shape recovery ratio. The investigation results in all the quenched SMAs exhibits complete martensite. Water and Meta quench oil quenched SMAs exhibit almost similar transformation temperatures with rapid response. © 2023, The Indian Institute of Metals - IIM.Cu–Al–BeMeta quench oilQuenching mediaShape memory alloySilicone oilEffect of Quenchant on the Phase Transformation of Cu–Al–Be–B Shape Memory Alloys
