The complex crystallizes in the orthorhombic space group Pnma with four formula units ofSb[CS(NH <inf>2</inf>)<inf>2</inf>]<inf>2</inf>Cl<inf>3</inf>·Cl in the unit cell. The structure has been solved by direct methods and refined to a final-R value of 0.0393. The synthesized crystals are characterized by FT-IR, UV-visible and TGA-DTA techniques.
