Three post-tensioned unbonded beams were tested along with three bonded beams and the experimental test results are presented in this paper. The beams are rectangular in cross-section, simply supported and loaded at third-points. Development of cracking pattern, behaviour beyond the service loads and load-deflection response are of primary interest. The results of the tests are compared with those computed from the codes of the Indian Standards Institution and the American Concrete Institute.en_US
