This paper presents the design and application of a bioacoustics gun aimed at preventing bird attacks in agricultural, horticultural fields, airports, and tall buildings. Bioacoustics, a field of study focusing on animal communication through sound, forms the basis of this innovative approach. A bioacoustics gun emits specific sound signals like ultrasonic signals or acoustic waves that deter birds from targeted areas. This paper describes an experiment first conducted by using a single speaker and also through an array of speakers. By employing array speakers arranged in a specific geometric configuration and providing appropriate phase delays to each speaker, the bioacoustics gun achieves precise control over sound direction and distribution, thereby enhancing its effectiveness. This humane and eco-friendly approach to bird management offers promising solutions for mitigating bird-related issues while promoting sustainable practices across various sectors. Performance metrics of the bioacoustics gun is also provided in this paper. © 2025 IEEE.
