In this paper, we proposed a method to design a passive filter to drive the piezo-electric load fed from a Class- D amplifier. In order to design an efficient filter for piezoelectric load with maximum bandwidth, the load has to be considered as part of the filter. The bipolar SPWM method is used to generate gating pulses to the Class-D amplifier by using the TMS320F28379D microcontroller. Filter is expected to work between the frequency range of (10-25) kHz. The bandwidth of approximately (10-12) kHz achieved and the simulation result are compared with the hardware result. © 2023 IEEE.
