dc.description.abstractUltrasonic velocity (u), density (?), and viscosity (?) have been measured for glycylglycine and CoCl<inf>2</inf> in aqueous and aqueous ethanol systems at T = (288.15 to 318.15) K. Using the experimental values, the adiabatic compressibility (?<inf>s</inf>), molar hydration number (n<inf>H</inf>), apparent molar compressibility (K<inf>S?</inf>), apparent molar volume (V<inf>?</inf>), limiting apparent molar compressibility (K<inf>S ?{symbol}</inf>0), limiting apparent molar volume (V<inf>?{symbol}</inf>0), their constants (S<inf>K</inf>, S<inf>V</inf>), viscosity coefficients of A and B parameters of Jones-Dole equation, relative viscosity (?<inf>r</inf>), and excess Gibbs free energy of activation (? G* E) were calculated and the results of all these parameters have been discussed in terms of solute-solvent and solute-solute interactions. © 2010 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.
