3-(2,4-Dichloro-phen-yl)-5-phenyl-1,2,4-oxadiazole

Abstract

In the title compound, C<inf>14</inf>H<inf>8</inf>Cl<inf>2</inf>N <inf>2</inf>O, the dihedral angles between the plane of the oxadiazole ring and those of the benzene rings are 2.3 (1) and 9.5 (1)°. In the crystal, mol-ecules are linked into chains along the c axis by C - H?Cl inter-actions. These chains are stacked along the a axis.
