Retraction Note to: Schiff base transition metal complexes for Suzuki–Miyaura cross-coupling reaction (J. Chem. Sci., (2017), 129, 9, (1483-1490), 10.1007/s12039-017-1347-6)

Abstract

The Editor in Chief has retracted this article because of reports that the results are not reproducible. A thorough investigation was conducted by the Indian Academy of Sciences by the Editor in Chief and Associate Editor. On request of the Editor in Chief, an Associate Editor and his research group tried to reproduce the catalytic activity of the complex C-4 reported in the published paper in the Suzuki-Miyaura reaction as per entry 1 of Table 2 using 4-bromoanisole. They were not able to get the cross-coupled product as reported. The authors have been invited to submit a new manuscript for peer review. Badekai Ramachandra Bhat has stated on behalf of both authors that they do not agree to this retraction. © Indian Academy of Sciences.
