This paper presents direct and independent torque control of induction motors using the technique called direct torque control (DTC), which is an on-off control scheme. Stator flux and the electromagnetic torque are directly controlled by applying the appropriate voltage vector from a look-up table. The simulation results for electro- magnetic torque, flux, stator currents and stability plot are shown for the various speed commands. 2010 IEEE.en_US
