This paper proposes an ultra low voltage, low power transconductor. By using the proposed transconductor, a 4th order Butterworth low-pass filter (LPF) for the processing of an Electrocardiogram (ECG), is implemented. The filter operates from an extremely low power supply of 0.3 V. For 100 Hz cutoff frequency, the filter offers a dynamic range (DR) of 49.3 dB and consumes 2.4 nW power. The filter offers a Figure-of-merit (FoM) of 6.2 × 10-15, which is much superior to those enumerated in the literature. © 2020 IEEE.en_US
