A novel routing algorithm, Modified Hybrid Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (MHLEACH) developed to surmount the difficulty of managing energy in network. The Wireless Sensor Networks (WSNs) lifetime enhanced on considering residual node energy, average distance, optimal Cluster Heads (CHs) count and closer nodes to Base Station (BS). An approach to design a new clustering algorithm based on Hybrid Low Energy Adaptive Clustering Hierarchy (HLEACH). In this paper, we formulated a new Threshold condition Τ (η) for electing CHs among Sensor Nodes (SNs). Simulation result show that proposed algorithm is better than HLEACH in balancing the node energy of the network. © 2017 IEEE.
