dc.description.abstractOne of the devices used to enhance the distribution system's power quality is DSTATCOM. The effective operation will be impacted by their positioning and dimensions. The ACO approach is used in this study to arrange and to find the size of DSTATCOM. Power quality problems will increase as distribution generators are added to the distribution system. This paper presents the effects of DSTATCOM and distribution generators on distribution systems under various operating conditions. The system is examined under various conditions, and the outcomes show how the voltage profile improves and line losses decrease. © 2025 IEEE.
