An Improved Algorithm for Inverting Cauer I and II Continued Fractions

Abstract

This letter presents a one-shot algorithm, for inverting both Cauer I and II forms of continued fraction. The algorithm, which is amenable to digital computation, proceeds in the forward direction yielding at every stage the corresponding transfer function.
