2-(4-Fluorophenyl)-2-oxoethyl 3-(trifluoromethyl)benzoate

Abstract

In the title compound, C<inf>16</inf>H<inf>10</inf>F<inf>4</inf>O <inf>3</inf>, the fluoro-form group is disordered over two orientations with an occupancy ratio of 0.834 (4):0.166 (4). The dihedral angle between the two aromatic rings is 20.34 (9)°. In the crystal, C - H?O hydrogen bonds link the molecules into layers lying parallel to the bc plane. © Fun et al. 2011.
