Attribute -TID method for discovering sequence of attributes
    (2012) Kumar, P.; Ananthanarayana, V.S.
The abstraction based algorithms read databases in sequential order and then construct abstraction of the database in memory. Given any database with n attributes, it is possible to read the same in n! ways. These different n! ways lead to abstractions of different sizes. In this paper, for a given a set of transactions D, we find the sequence or order of the attributes in which the database is read, a representation which is compact than PC-tree, can be obtained in the memory. © 2012 Springer-Verlag.

ARBAC: Attribute-enabled role based access control model
    (Springer Verlag service@springer.de, 2019) Singh, M.P.; Sudharsan, S.; Vani, M.
Role Based Access Control (RBAC) is well-known for ease of policy administration, whereas Attribute Based Access Control (ABAC) is renowned for flexible policy specification and dynamic decision making capability. However, they both have some well-known limitations. In this paper, we present an approach that uniquely combines the benefits of RBAC and ABAC. Specifically, our approach associates attribute based rules with roles and permissions that enables the specification of multi-dimensional fine-grained attribute enabled role-based policies. These policies along with rules are also stored as in-memory data, which helps in minimizing the execution time of access requests. Experiments on a wide range of policy data sets demonstrate feasibility and scalability of the proposed approach. © Springer Nature Singapore Pte Ltd. 2019.

Application of ISM technique for analysis of the procurement related attributes in JIT supply chain management
    (Inderscience Publishers, 2014) Mishra, O.P.; Kumar, V.; Garg, D.
The fierce competition in selling a product has made us have to think differently. The supply chain is one issue in front of each production firm to compete with another and to get privilege of another. The excellence of the supply chain is possible only when the product is of the best quality while being cost competitive. The reduction of the production cost has become the focus point in reducing the overall cost of the supply chain. This paper focuses JIT procurement process in the SC to cut one the overall costs. To estimate the factors affecting the JIT procurement (JP) we have recognised the important attributes from the literatures. A questionnaire-based survey was carried out to give the ranking of the attributes found from literature and then an interpretative structural model (ISM) is prepared to link the levels of importance of the JP attributes among themselves. On the basis of levels of the attributes managerial staff are suggested to focus on the particular issues to make the JP successful, therefore making the JIT supply chain management successful even in the worst scenario.
