Item Analysis of Potential Regions for Maritime using QGIS Tool(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2022) Ramesh, N.V.K.; Sai Karthik, C.V.; Yugesh, J.; Vani, B.; Reddy, B.The paper explains the advancement of seafood production using remote sensing methods virtually. It is an attempt to coordinate the gauging rules as well as GIS to determine an appropriate basis for arranging drifting enclosures in the seaward climate, which could serve as a model for comparable cases. Now a days due to more population the agriculture food is not sufficient for the survival of the human beings. So, people are checking for the alternatives and marine aqua culture is the fast-growing food resources. Marine aqua culture has high value of species for the food supplies and also has negative impact on water supply. The main objective of this paper is to use GIS software to create environmental models for the development of seafood and to enhance food production. The analysis of variance revealed critical spatial variation for ocean surface current, total suspended matter, and chlorophyll-a.By using GIS software we are collecting the parameters of the oceans and check the suitable locations for seafood production. Coastal mariculture is presently confronting huge tensions, particularly from the anthropogenic exercises, variable climate, and multi-client struggle. © 2022 IEEE.Item An efficient way to vehicle movement monitor in flooded underpass using IoT(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2022) Suresh, N.; Bala Vamsi, T.; Aravind, Y.; Vani, B.; Reddy, B.Humans are now suffering issues because of the rapid growth of the human population. Apart from that, there is a deficiency of appropriate infrastructure in development projects, such as roads and underpasses, which results in a range of challenges, such as water logging and floods. In the event of heavy rain, underpasses and roads get immediately swamped with water, resulting in traffic gridlock and car immobilization. Until recently, there were no planned strategies for monitoring the quantity of water in underpasses and flooded areas, and this is expected to change. We will need to keep a watch on it in the news or on Google Maps, or we will need to find out if anybody else has reported it before. One of the problems with this system is that the information we get moves slowly and easily may be misrepresented or manipulated. The principal aim of this system is to keep track of the quantity of water that is present in underpasses and other flood-prone areas. The data collected by our water level sensor, which we are using to monitor water level, is controlled, and uploaded by an Arduino board equipped with an ESP8266 module. A regular stream of data will be delivered to the cloud, and the vehicle movement will be rerouted in the most suitable way. It follows that individual who are passing via an underpass or on flooded roads may arrange their journeys appropriately by accessing information stored in the cloud. Another feature is the installation of an LCD display near the underpass, which continuously updates the water level, allowing anyone in the neighborhood to determine if it is safe for their car to pass through or not. A DC motor pump is then utilized to pump out the water when the level of the water exceeds a predetermined threshold value. This system has been tested in a number of configurations and has consistently performed as intended and produced dependable results in all circumstances. Furthermore, since it is less costly than prior prototypes, the proposed system is both easy to use and simple to keep up to date. © 2022 IEEE.Item Aging time correlation in DC magnetron sputtered Ni60Ti40 thin films(Elsevier Ltd, 2017) Reddy, B.; Udayashankar, N.K.In this work, Intermetallic NiTi thin films have been prepared using glancing angle DC magnetron sputtering technique on Si (1 0 0) substrate maintained at room temperature with separate elemental targets Ni and Ti. The films were solution treated (annealed) at 600 °C for 1 h followed by aging at 500 °C for 2 h, 4 h and 6 h. The degree of crystallinity increases with subsequent solution treatment followed by aging at different times. The hardness and elastic modulus increased from 8.32 to 9.41 GPa and from 148.92 to 163.13 GPa, respectively, with respect to the increase in aging time. From HR-XPS (High Resolution X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy) investigations, it was found that the films aged at different times have shown strong tendency to form thicker surface layer TiO2 (metal oxide) onto the film surface due to higher thermodynamic reactivity by leaving Ni-rich precipitates in the matrix immediately behind the metal oxide layer. © 2016 Elsevier LtdItem Influence of annealing temperature on the structural, morphological, mechanical and surface properties of near equiatomic NiTi thin films(Elsevier Ltd, 2017) Reddy, B.; Udayashankar, N.K.In this work, we report our studies on near equiatomic NiTi thin films grown on silicon (1 0 0) substrates deposited without intentional heating of the substrate by DC magnetron sputtering technique with separate elemental targets Ni and Ti. The films were annealed for one hour at various temperatures, i.e. 350, 450, 550 and 650 °C. X-ray diffraction (XRD) studies revealed that the degree of crystallinity increases up to 550 °C but decreases at 650 °C. The surface roughness value Rq, Ra and Rmax have been obtained by Atomic Force Microscopy (AFM). The hardness and elastic modulus values increase up to 550 °C and decreases at 650 °C. High Resolution X-ray Photoelectron Spectroscopy (HR-XPS) studies revealed that the annealed near equiatomic NiTi thin films have a strong tendency to form TiO2 (metal oxide) layer onto the film surface. This is due to the higher thermodynamic reactivity of Ti by leaving Ni-rich matrix trapped behind, most likely in the sub layers of NiTi along with Titanium carbide (Ti-C) and Silicon carbide (Si-C) precipitates. © 2017 Elsevier Ltd
