Study of Topological Connectivity of Optical Networks Using Graph Spectra
(Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers Inc., 2023) Kumbhar, A.; Shah, H.; Sanjay, V.; Chandavarkar, B.R.
Transport networks between cities and the physical topological connectivity share a close resemblance. The study of this resemblance using graphs and matrices has been extensively researched in foreign cities. However, there has been relatively less focus on the Indian topological aspects. Therefore, this study aims to analyze the network connectivity of optical cables by correlating with Indian transport networks and using graph concepts and mathematical models. The study aims to investigate the various graphs and their properties generated from the rail network of different Indian cities, considering each locality as a node and compare them with corresponding graphs generated from optical cable networks. Graph Spectra are better indicator of connectivity and thus they provide an extensive details about various aspect that could help in enhancing the connectivity of optical cables. © 2023 IEEE.
