Semantic Web service selection based on business offering
    (2008) D'Mello, D.A.; Kaur, I.; Ram, N.; Ananthanarayana, V.S.
Semantic Web service discovery finds a match between service requirement and service advertisements based on the semantic description. The discovery mechanism does not consider quality and business offers of advertised Web services. In this paper, we propose ontology based Semantic Web service architecture for selection which recommends the best match for the requester. We design semantic broker which allows providers to advertise their services by creating OWL-S service profile consisting of functional, quality and business offers. The broker computes and records information for matchmaking during service publishing to improve the performance. The broker reads requirements from the requester and finds the best (profitable) Web service by matching functionality, capability, quality and business offers. 2008 IEEE.
