    Application of VIKOR Method for Green Postal Sustainable Service Design

    To survive in the market, it is imperative that the public postal service facilities adopt sustainable principles. This paper objective is to analyze the sustainability validation through VIšekriterijumsko KOmpromisno Rangiranje (VIKOR) method to assess the three India post service operations such as NSH Mangalore, NSH Mysuru and RMS Chennai. Finding consumer variables (questions) that influence the Service Quality (SQ) design/dimensions of postal service in three areas, such as design (4 attributes such as service innovation, comfortable working layout, green construction, product innovation), sustainability (5 attributes – energy efficiency, indoor environmental quality, workplace environment, green purchasing, effective utilization of water resource), and authority, aims to encourage sustainability aspects (4 attributes-technology adoption, standardization, strict reinforcement, periodic quality assurance check). This survey will be useful in determining how India Post can continue to be strategically viable for the foreseeable future. It offers its customers nationwide logistical services through a wide-ranging network.
